Bosun is one Node.js application with a SQLite database, installed on a server you control. It presents four surfaces: the WhatsApp assistant your staff message, a web dashboard for whoever runs the business, an admin where every setting and credential lives, and the white-label layer that replaces our name with yours. There is no account with us, no shared tenancy and no per-user fee - your data sits in a single file on your own machine.

Your team's messages stay yours
Everything your staff send the assistant is business information: what is late, who is behind, what a customer was promised, what the approval limits are. With most tools that all lives in somebody else's database, under their retention policy, subject to their pricing changes and their acquisition.
Bosun runs on your server. The database is a single file on your machine. We have no account, no login and no copy - which also means we cannot recover it for you, so the backup script and where you keep its output genuinely matter.

Choices that keep it cheap to run
SQLite, not a database server
One file, no separate service to run, back up or patch. It comfortably handles a team of fifty on the smallest VPS.
Prompt caching
The instruction set the model reads is built once and cached, which is why a message costs a fifth of a cent instead of two cents.
Search in the database
Your procedures are indexed with full-text search inside SQLite - no vector database, no monthly bill for one.
Encrypted settings
Every credential you enter is encrypted before it is stored, and masked everywhere it is displayed.
One process
No queue service, no worker fleet, no container orchestration. It starts with one command and restarts on its own.
Tested before release
Over seven hundred automated checks, including real-browser tests of every screen, run before anything ships to you.

Do my staff have to install anything?
No. They use WhatsApp, which they already have. There is no app, no login and no password for them to forget - which is the entire reason the tool gets used.
Can you host it for me?
Yes, if you would rather not run a server. It is a separate arrangement with its own monthly cost - tell us on the <a href="/contact/">contact form</a> and we will quote it plainly. Most buyers self-host, because that is the point.
What happens when my team grows?
Nothing changes commercially - there is no per-seat price. You add people in the admin. The only figure that moves is your AI provider bill, because more messages mean more calls, at roughly a fifth of a cent each.
Is the source code included?
Yes, unobfuscated, with the automated test suites. You can read it, change it and keep running it whatever happens to us.
