One product, one person, one price
Bosun is built, installed and supported by its founder. That has real advantages and one real risk, and you should weigh both before spending four figures with anybody.
Bosun is a white-label WhatsApp operations assistant built by Davinder Singh in Amritsar, India, and sold as a one-time purchase to businesses worldwide. There is no sales team, no funding and no per-seat subscription. The person who writes the code is the person who installs it and the person who answers when something breaks.

It started as somebody else's problem
The first version was built for a car dealership that was losing work between departments: recon finishing a car nobody told parts about, callbacks promised and forgotten, four separate lists and one owner walking the floor every morning asking the same questions. They had tried a task app. It lasted about six weeks.
What became obvious while building it is that the failure had nothing to do with the app being bad. Nobody would open it. So the assistant was moved into the one place the team already lived - WhatsApp - and the list started staying true on its own. Everything since has been building that out properly and making it something another business can buy and own outright.
- Built against a real dealership's actual failures, not a feature list
- Moved into WhatsApp because that was the only place adoption was free
- Made white-label because a buyer's staff should see their company's tool, not a supplier's
- Priced once because renting software forever is a bad deal for a small business

The risk of buying from one person
You are considering spending a four-figure sum with a one-person business. That is a genuine risk and pretending otherwise would be the wrong way to begin. If something happened to me, there would be no team to take over support.
What can be done about it has been done, structurally rather than as a promise. The software runs on your server, not ours. The source code is yours, unobfuscated, with its test suites. There is no licence check phoning home, so nothing switches off. If this business disappeared, your installation would keep working and any competent Node developer could maintain it.
- Your installation runs on your server and does not depend on us being alive
- You get the source code, unobfuscated, with the automated tests
- No licence server, no activation, nothing to go dark
- Standard, boring technology - Node.js and SQLite - so any developer can pick it up
- The backup script and its documentation are yours from day one
The decisions behind the price
One-time, not monthly
Setup is where the work is. Charging rent for software already installed on your server is charging for the wrong thing.
No per-seat fee
Per-seat pricing punishes hiring and pushes teams into sharing logins, which destroys the audit trail.
Your own API keys
You pay your AI provider at cost. We take no margin on your usage and see none of your traffic.
White-label as standard
Not an upsell. Your staff should see your company's tool, which means our name appears nowhere.
No sales team
You will talk to the person who wrote it. Nobody here is paid on commission to tell you it fits.
No testimonials we did not get
There are no invented reviews or client logos on this site. When a real buyer agrees to be quoted, that will appear with their name.
India-built, sold worldwide
The software is built in Amritsar and sold in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and elsewhere. Some buyers want to know that upfront, so it is here rather than buried.
Practically it makes little difference to how you use it, because the installation runs on a server you choose, in a country you choose. What it does mean is that setup calls happen across time zones, and that support is a person in a different working day - which we schedule around rather than pretend away.
- Your server, in your country, with your data in it
- Setup calls scheduled to your working hours, not ours
- Support within one working day, and same-day during your launch week
- Priced in US dollars for buyers outside India, in rupees plus GST within it

How long has Bosun existed?
The product is new. It was built against one dealership's real operations, tested extensively - 716 automated checks including real-browser tests of every screen - and is now being sold. If you would rather buy software with ten years of history, that is a legitimate preference and we are not it yet.
How many businesses use it?
Few, and we are not going to inflate the number. Early buyers get more of the founder's attention than later ones will, which is the honest trade for going first.
What happens if you get too busy?
Setup slots get booked further out, and we will tell you the real date rather than a hopeful one. Support for existing installations comes before new sales.
Can I talk to you before buying?
Yes, and you should. <a href="/book-a-demo/">Book a demo</a> and you will speak to the person who built it. Bring the twelve questions from the <a href="/guides/team-task-software-buyers-guide/">buyer's guide</a> - they were written to be asked of us too.
